Ice, Ice Baby

The ice is melting so fast that it looks like it's raining and sounds like objects are falling down all over the place. What a cold, wet mess! And then it's going down to the teens tonight, so then we'll have more ice!
I shouldn't complain, because I'm not in Minnesota, Fairbanks, or any of the New England states, but--we got ice.

It was 18 below here this morning (Boulder) I guess it looked pretty but I was too busy trying not to freeze my lungs to really notice! I was glad my car started because being late to my clinical shift would have been heavily frowned upon.

Sure makes for a gorgeous scene though. Hope you're warm and don't have any place to be.

Thanks, Doug.

Rose, that's awfully cold! And yeah, you've got one of those important, must-be-there jobs. Hope all went well.

Bone, I didn't have far to go to work, at least.

Ice on each and every little twig and branch is beautiful. And since we didn't lose power for three days, I'm okay with it.
But it's so dangerous.
