Rabbit, rabbit!

Good luck in August!
No matter how much fun you're having, try to keep your head above the candy level and don't overdo it. Too much.
MTV debuted on August 1, 1981. Today is also the 231st anniversary of Francis Scott Key's birthday, but they didn't often play his music on MTV.
These days, they don't play much music on MTV. What a shame. In the beginning, MTV had a very limited music library, but they played what they had over and over and over again, and we watched it--over and over and over again. Now that they must have an enormous collection, they don't play any of it.
It seems that in the longer run, video did not kill the radio star...
Having a nice weekend?

Rabbit rabbit. That's a very funny illustration, by the way.

We grew up, Actonbell. That's the problem with MTV.

Rabbit rabbit. Well, heck, I guess I didn't grow up, 'cause I still miss MTV. Those were the days.

Rabbit Rabbit! Your picture is the coolest one I've seen yet - love it!

I was there at the inception of MTV - enjoyed the Huey Lewis and Michael Jackson videos - certain ones like The Cars, Tom Petty & INXS music videos were outlandish and entertaining... Someone told me yesterday that MTV has stopped showing videos because nobody watches them anymore anyway since all the ipods are all the rage. I miss them.

Ah, good point about video and radio and their respective stars.

I just hope Facebook doesn't kill the blog star.
