Serena

I'll be seeing you, peeking around corners, I'll keep expecting you, whenever I hear the floorboards settle.

I'll be seeing you sleeping in all your favorite spots, I'll be expecting you, padding up behind me in the kitchen

...your graceful, effortless leaps and jumps. You were always there, suddenly, silently.

I'll remember you that way.

It's sad, and no new pet can ever replace the ones that are part of the family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always SO hard to let go of those loved family members. It's such a wonderful unconditional attachment that we have with them.

I am so sorry to hear it. Actonbell and Serena, there was not one without the other. I have never completely figured their relationship out. *hugs Actonbell*

Ooooh, I am so sorry.
Our pets have such big chunks of our hearts in their little paws, don't they?

She was very loved.
Hugs

a wonderful posting for Serena. And i totally understand about seeing and feeling her everywhere - i still see Hagar sometimes at the old homestead, out of the corner of my eye. And Chatham speaks to me when the sun warms the window where he liked to sit.

Dear, sweet little Serena, you will be missed. Be happy on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
