OMG, WTF??

WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania man who killed and ate a woman's cat has been sentenced to probation for 23 months.

Thirty-eight-year-old Stanley Sebetich, of Eighty Four, was sentenced Friday in Washington County court after he pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals. He was also ordered not to live with any pets for two years and fined $2,500.

According to court records, Sebetich cut the cat's throat in a bathtub, skinned it, cut it up and cooked it in May 2007

It took long enough for this case to be resolved, huh? And why did this Stanley guy eat this cat--was he angry with the owner, or especially fond of cat meat? I don't think he should ever be living with any pets.

Pets should not have to live in fear of being what's for dinner! There are some real sickos out there.

Cats and Dogs are considered a real delicacy in many cultures. Haven't you ever eaten Chinese food and wondered?

Well, Bill Clinton, for example, would know the difference between living with and living on. Killing pets is evil, but eating meat is glorious.

LOL, Tom! I didn't know anyone ate cats, though. Of course, if people have eaten rats, well--that's worse. And I knew there was a reason the vegetarian dishes at Asian restaurants appealed to me more--anything might taste like chicken.

You've got a point, Doug:)

Gross! Of course I agree that eating meat is glorious, but I still reserve the right of choice. Mystery meat isn't my favorite.

Was his name Hannibal Licker?

My opinion exactly, Terry.

haha, Nessa.

Hilarious photo and caption, as usual. I came to love that site.

I don't think it is bad to kill and eat anything if you do the kill part fast and with as little pain as possible. Eating is good, torturing is bad.

But it made me think, too, what made him to eat the cat? Revenge? You remember that woman from the Greek mitology, she cooked her own children to have a revenge on her husband cheated on her.

I think he should have gone to jail and should never be allowed to have pets. Or should have been incarcerated in a mental facility. Its been proven time and again that people who torture or kill animals for spiteful reasons are likely to move on to humans as their next victims. This guy should not be out in society.

Oh yes, not that its very exciting but I have a new home, at least for the social commentary stuff.

So, everyone who commented already knew that PA has a town named "Eighty Four?"

That's as interesting to me as the cat-eating.

This guy is a sicko. I eat meat, and I supppose that I shouldn't think that one type of animal-eating is better than another, but it seems to me that a PET is off-limits whatever it is. If I had a pet chicken, I couldn't eat it.

And what about the stealing part? He stole the cat. He should get time for that. Time in a mental hospital.

Ariel, that's my question, too. I'd really like to know why he did this, and hope that the cat died quickly, at least.
Cheesie, he absolutely should not EVER have pets. And he does need an evaluation.
Mom, I read that twice! Eighty Four? And yes, he definitely stole/poached the cat. Weirdo

I'm totally horrified.

I hope his death is something ironic and poetic like maybe being eaten by a bear while camping.

If this were one of my cats, the guy would have bigger problems.

Like for example, mysterious car fires, and flaming bottles of gasoline and motor oil through his windows.

Oh yea - and I never saw or heard anything.

LOL, ReesePie. He sounds strange enough to die--strangely.

Lazy, you could be my favorite terrorist:)

Nooooo! I love kitties too much. I love MY cat too much (that spaz, even if he does get on my nerves half the time). I can't even begin to fathom hurting a cat (or any animal) let alone eating it. I know, we've been conditioned to eat cow meat, but a kitty is so innocent!! That bastard, I hope there's an animal lover in prison who finds out why he's in there to begin with.
