Wait for it...

Hold yer rabbits--it's leap year!

This February hath one more bloody day. This photo reminds me of that part in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer when Rudolph is flying high, yelling down at his friend, "I'm cute! She says I'm cute!" If today's your birthday, you're cute. They say that there are about 200,000 of you in this country, about 4 million in the world. So, leap out!

January went by so slowly that it's almost incredible that tomorrow is March Hare Day.

30 days hath September
April, June, and November.
All the rest have 31,
save February - the shortest one.
28 is all it stores,
till Leap Year gives it one day more.

Happy Friday!

I usually stay hid on Sadie Hawkins Day to preserve the illusion. Every Pan sees Narcissus reflected in still water.

Wow, "Each year on Sadie Hawkins Day the unmarried women of Dogpatch pursued the single men. If a woman caught a man and dragged him back to the starting line by sundown, he had to marry her."

Good reason for a curmudgeon to hide.

We call leap year "szökőév" that is runaway year.

It's not fair that I had to work an extra day this year.
