A Rodrigo Y Gabriela CD is coming my way soon, because I just bought it on Ebay. No one ruined by day by outbidding me. Yay! Someone over there recommended it on a Saturday not all that long ago. Also, a certain shutterbug inspired me to obtain a Suzanne Vega CD. It's always uplifting to get new music.
Things don't always go swimmingly, though; I also bid on a cute burgundy dress, early, and waited three days for the end of the bidding, only to be outbid by one dollar at the last minute, which was approximately 3am, my time. Some people are just vicious. (Fine. There are other dresses.)
The continuing work saga: yesterday (Friday) was the Last Day for Toyland. On Monday, a bunch of strangers will be leasing and working in the warehouse. Why Toyland didn't want to use our company's services until the end of the year is anyone's guess. I predict Monday will be wild.
Meanwhile, that's not my problem, especially since the little Crappy Jewelry Outpost has inherited its own refrigerator, copy machine, printer, and possibly a microwave. We are merry widows. (C'mon, you know you need a red sequin watch!)
Wow, I've actually been sleeping a lot of the night away! And I've been having these metadreams; despite the fact that I'm totally aware of being in bed, I'm having these very real sensations. One of them was a toddler shaking me and yelling 'up, UP!' while another was balloons flying overhead. Drat, I don't remember all of them, but they were there, I tell you. And no, I haven't been overdoing the tequila.
